RC fly-in planned

It is spring and time for The Okeechobee RC Association annual Spring Youth Jamboree and Community Fly-in on Saturday, May 21, starting at 9 a.m. at the club flying field at the Agri-Civic Center. The fly-in is free to everyone and there is lots of parking. Radio controlled aircraft, drones and cars will be on display. An air show will begin at 10:30 a.m. followed by a drag racing demonstration. The air show will end with a prize drop for the kids. Instructors will be available throughout the morning to answer questions OR for you to try your hand at flying an RC Aircraft on a Buddy Box.
