Our September Rise Up With the Chamber will be held at the Brown Cow Sweetery located at 103 SW Park St on Tuesday, July 18thh from 7:45am to 8:30am. We are always excited to have Mark and Paulette Bragel hosting this informative morning get together where we will have several speakers to share information about their business or organization with us. It's a great time to network with those present and we always learn so much from these guests. Mariah will be live videoing the speakers and will post it out on Facebook later in the morning. If you can't make it, you can always watch it live at #chambercandidcamera. It's more fun to be there though! Hope to see you at the Brown Cow.
We are pleased to announce that we will have a ribbon cutting on Wednesday, July 19th at noon for 3 of our new businesses and all are located at 203 SE 2nd Avenue. EXP Realty, LLC, PLT Therapy and HSBC insurance/Beacon Insurance will be providing light type lunch items for you to enjoy. Cindi, Valerie and Rod are looking forward to having you visit and sharing in the celebration. Come, join in, and get in the photo opportunities at noon and welcome each as new Chamber members as you network with those attending. Our events are always open to the public. Hope to see you there.
It's time to start planning our Small Business Saturday event that happens every year, the Saturday after Thanksgiving. This year it will be on November 25th. As this is a National event, we want to make sure that we can get our small businesses involved early with as many businesses participating as possible. It's important for our community to SHOP on Small Business Saturday with our local small businesses and we must start early to advertise for it. We are looking for any of our businesses that would like to be on our Shop Small committee to help give us ideas, suggestions and volunteer to help us make this one of the best. Our first meeting will be on Thursday, July 20th at 8:30a.m. If you are interested in helping us and want to be a part of this great event, please email me and let me know. I'll make sure to add your name to our list. SHOP SMALL - HELP OUR BUSINESSES TO GROW!
