The Okeechobee County Economic Development Corporation aims to propel the success of Okeechobee through meaningful, strategic economic opportunity. The Corporation is equipped to aid both new and existing businesses through collaborative efforts. The implementation of initiatives like the Business Retention and Expansion Program (BREP) and Okeechobee Junior Leaders Camp, as well as a partnership with Okeechobee Touch a Truck, allow President Kaylee King and Director of Existing Industry Alex Tijerina to help the current and future workforces reach their respective goals. Furthermore, with a Board of Directors representing a diverse range of industries – such as energy, logistics, finance, utilities and education – the Corporation is proud to anticipate and meet the needs of a variety of businesses.
